LAUDATION CERTIFICATES FOR SUPPORT OF TABLE TENNIS

On the occasion of successful organization of the Fifth International Table Tennis Championship and cooperation with the table tennis club “Zeleznicar” in  Nis in Palilula Municipality was held a press conference. On this occasion, the president of the Palilula Municipality Assembly Milan Đurđevic, handed the award for support of club activities and to the media and organizations laudation certificates for its contribution in promoting sports events. Professor Hristivoje Petrovic, in charge of public relations in the Club said that STK “Zeleznicar”  registered to Tables` tennis Alliance of Serbia (STSS) and to the Regional Tables` tennis Alliance of Nis (RSTSN) and from July 2005 it is in the system of competition. In addition to senior competition teams in the league of Serbia, in the same year started with work and school of table tennis at the club led by a licensed trainer, prof. Zarko Stepanović, in collaboration with Goran Milutinovic. “One of the main goals of our work is massing and popularization of table tennis in primary schools. At STK “Zeleznicar” are registered players of all categories, table tennis judges of all ranks, coaches with certificates. In the 2008-09 competition season STK “Zeleznicar” as Champion of RSTSN League played qualifications for the senior league and achieved excellent results placing in the Second Union League of Serbia. At the Ninth teams Railway Cup of Serbia in table tennis, which was held in Lajkovac in February this year, club members of tables` tennis “Zeleznicar” - Nis won the first place. This was recommendation that to a club entrust the organization of the International table tennis RSTSN Championship, which was in the beginning of May successfully carried out in the hall of primary school “Miroslav Mika Antic” with the participation of about 200 juniors from Serbia, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Slovenia, Romania , Hungary, Greece, the Republic of Serbian and other countries.
